We are a company incorporated in Hong Kong, Company Registration Number 2675226, with our registered office at Rm 1546, 15/F., Pioneer Centre, 750 Nathan Road, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

This Policy applies to our website at https://1marketing.hk, the social media pages we operate, and the marketing services we provide.

We are primarily regulated by the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (“PDPO”). Where we process the personal data of individuals located in the European Economic Area and the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) applies, we will also comply with its applicable requirements.

  • Business information you provide in an enquiry, such as your company website, industry and marketing requirements

When you browse our website, we automatically record:

Our website does not offer member registration, account login or online payment. We therefore do not collect account passwords or payment card details.

  • that we will not do so without your consent or indication of no objection
  • the kinds of personal data we intend to use
  • the classes of goods and services we intend to promote

What we will promote Our marketing services, including public relations, media promotion, event management, creative planning, digital marketing (GEO, AEO, SEO, SEM and programmatic advertising) and Xiaohongshu marketing.

Your consent We will not use your personal data in direct marketing unless you give consent or indicate no objection. If you do not respond to our notification, that does not count as consent.

How to opt out You may withdraw your consent and ask us to stop using your personal data in direct marketing at any time, whether or not you consented previously. Email contact@1marketing.hk, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

We will not charge you for this. We will act on your request without cost to you.

8. Cross-Border Data Transfer

Some of the service providers listed in section 4, including Google, Meta and HighLevel, process and store data outside Hong Kong. Data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in Hong Kong.

We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is appropriately protected during transfer and processing. By using our website, you consent to such transfer and processing.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

  • Enquiries that do not become client engagements: 24 months from last contact, after which the data is deleted or anonymised
  • Client project records: 7 years from project completion, to meet tax and accounting record-keeping requirements
  • Marketing mailing list: until you opt out

10. Data Security

We apply reasonable organisational, technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please notify us immediately.

11. Your Rights

Under the PDPO, you have the right to:

  • Access: ask us whether we hold your personal data and request a copy
  • Correction: request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Opt out of direct marketing: ask us to stop using your personal data for marketing, free of charge (see section 7)

If you are located in the European Economic Area and the GDPR applies, you may have additional rights including data portability, erasure and restriction of processing.

How to exercise your rights

  2. the specific personal data concerned

We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

We will respond within 40 calendar days of receiving your request, as required by section 19(1) of the PDPO. For data access requests, we may charge a fee that is directly related to and necessary for complying with the request.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our services are directed at business clients, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with personal data without consent, please contact us and we will delete it as soon as reasonably practicable.
